Yesterday was my mother’s birthday, so I decided to take her to the Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. It really is a beautiful place. The Descanso Gardens are a enchanting collection of botanical gardens that encompass 160 acres of land. This land contains a variety of gardens (edible, rose, Japanese, etc), woodlands and forests, and chaparrals that sit and grow just wanting to be wondered and explored. I took a ton of photos and thought I’d share them with all of you, so below you’ll find three Slideshows showcasing the beauty of this wondrous place. The first slideshow showcases the beautiful flowers and gardens we encountered, the second showcases an art exhibit at the Strut Haaga Gallery, and the third showcases gorgeous terrariums… which have inspired me to want to do a-WHOLE-nother blog about in the future.
